No matter what they tell you.....

Lots of babies being born lately, so I know many of you will relate to this post.

I was just sitting here wondering why it is, that, no matter what your doctors tell you, or other people tell you, or the baby tells you via testing etc, that it's such a heavy mental burden about if the baby will be born healthy or not?

We've had TONS of testing.
But I've been on meds my whole pregnancy.
All of our tests came out A plus.
But I've been really sick the whole pregnancy.
She's been active.
I didnt get either of us a lot of nutrition for the first five months.
She's already over 8lbs.

So, why do we still worry? Aside from the obvious that we're loving mothers. I think that my major worry is that the meds have had some unknown affect on little Addie. I'm just going to do a lot of positive thinking this weekend and ask for lots of good energy.

We've had a few questions on what the 'plan' is. We're keeping that pretty close to the chest for now, because as you all know, plans change. Besides, we're pretty sure that Addison is the boss of this runaway train. We do have a 'plan' as of right now, which obviously involves next week. However, you never know what might happen. What I can tell you at this moment is that Addison has dropped. Our OB was even surprised at how much she dropped, which is a good thing. The only bad thing is that I feel like I'm going to drop her every time I pee. And, they say that she's supposed to have slowed down by now, heck no, not this kiddo. She's still going at it in there as though she were only six or seven months along!

I'm going to take the activity as a good sign :) My activity on the other hand is coming to a screaming halt. I feel very slow, very tired from not really sleeping and my emotions are all over the map. OB says that that's a good sign that labor is on it's way. I've had some good 'catch you off guard' contractions this week. Nothing consistent within an hours time, but they're here and there. Oh, and just when I didnt think I could get any bigger, I'm HUGE. Jen's going to take some last minute belly shots and post them this weekend. Beware, lol.

We are actually close to having the house ready. I dont think we thought we'd ever be prepared. Our new furniture came last week, Jen's been busting butt getting everything ready for family visits and Corey will be here on Saturday. He's really excited because he gets to be in with Jen for the birth. We got our cloth diapers yesterday and it was totally the high point of the day. They're really cute. Jen got them washed and put in their basket. I'll try to attach the pictures here. I think that that's it for this post, but I'll try to post a few times over the weekend. I had more for this post, but my mind's all over the place.

Pics of my little friend......

Well, only four more days until little Addison is born. I can't believe it.
So, today I went to visit a friend of ours. She is the most photogenic little girl, ever. I love taking pictures of her. She is at the cutest age right now. I watched her ride her bike, then we played on the swings and slide. She wanted to race...around the yard.....of course she won. Then it was time for me to leave so she could eat lunch and take her nap.
It was such a nice day out, I was glad I was able to spend it outside and doing what I love to do, take pictures. :-) Soon, I will have a new little model, Addison! I don't think she knows what she has in store for her. LOL!
